A gentle, accesible and therapeutic approach to Yoga.

Supreme Release Yoga or SRY works on releasing spinal tension, taking you directly to Yoga's supreme purpose.

This practice is accesible, as it is highly adaptible, yet it is an advanced practice because it takes you deeply inwards, beyond the physical layers of the body to discover the supreme being within. 

The poses and the angles in this practice focus on releasing long held patterns of tension in the spine, decompressing the vertebraes and creating space for energy to flow freely. 

In SRY we use props to offer support, while aligning the body in a way that protects the joints and prevents from overstretching, cultivating a parasympathetic nervous system response.

Supreme Release Yoga supports a process of surrender and letting go of physical, mental and emotional tension with the purpose of settling the mind as the main reason for healing, transformation and awareness.

SRY is especially beneficial for bodies with hypermobility, chronic pain & mental patterns of anxiety & overwhelm.

This approach to Yoga is for you if you experience chronic pain, fear, overwhelm, anxiety & an inability to relax and let go. Through Yoga asana, Pranayama, Meditation & Contemplation  we support the process of letting go, and create more space in the physical, mental & emotional realms of the body and mind. It is especially beneficial for those carrying the hypermobile pattern because it helps restore stability and integrity in the joints, releasing patterns of gripping in the muscles of the spine.

Supreme Release Yoga Classes

These group Yoga Therapy classes would take place in Willingham, at the Ploughman Hall. The classes are small and intimate, and they run in a 4 or 5 weeks block bookings. Fill in the application form if you would like to consider coming.
