Standing at the roots
How do we move beyond practising Yoga, and start living it?
A Guru Purnima satsang on lineage, wisdom and beginning again - July 28 from 7:30pm
Yoga was never meant to be practised and applied in isolation.
It was never meant to be something that happens only on your mat.
Yoga was always part of something bigger - a wisdom lineage which can hold all of you, and transform your whole life in ways you may have never imagined.
Guru Purnima is one of the most important days of the Yogic tradition, a day which honours the roots of wisdom, transmitted from teacher to student ever since the beginning.
Join me for a special evening of reflection, philosophy and practice as we honour Guru Purnima and explore why the deepest transformation in Yoga begins long before the first posture.
Live online on July 28 from 7:30 pm BST
Recorded and shared with those that are registered.
What is a "Satsang" ?
"Satsang" is often translated as "being in good company" or "being in the company of truth".
A Satsang is gathering of individuals on a spiritual path who come together to listen, contemplate & reflect on spiritual teachings & wisdom, shared as a discussion to uncover the deeper truths of life.

Why do you need this Satsang?
There comes a point in many Yoga practitioners journey's when another Yoga class isn't what they are looking for.
And maybe this is you.
You've learned the asanas, and you've attended the workshops. You may have even taken a Teacher Training program, and you have all the "important" books in your library.
Yet you still feel like there is something missing...
Something inside of you is quietly, yet repeatedly asking:
How do I actually live these teachings?
This Satsang is the answer for exactly this question.

Register NowYou might be asking yourself - IS THIS FOR ME?
Yes, if...
- You've practised Yoga for a while but feel drawn to something deeper.
- You love philosophy as much as the physical practice.
- You're curious about Ayurveda or Jyotisha but don't know where to begin.
- You're longing for a slower, more meaningful rhythm of practice that can be embodied into your everyday life.
- You have been listening to the podcasts, reading the books and attended the workshops, yet you still can't find a way to embody the teachings.
- You are longing to explore and connect to your roots.
- You want to gather with like-minded people asking the same questions on their journey.
- You want to feel connected to a living tradition rather than simply consuming information.
During our time together we'll reflect on:
- Why Guru Purnima is one of the most important days in the yogic tradition.
- Clarifying the Guru principle.
- Exploring the teacher - student relationship within a Yogic lineage.
- The difference between collecting spiritual knowledge and walking a path that is meant to be lived.
- How nature, the seasons and the Vedic calendar can become your greatest teachers.
- How we can build a life that allows us to live the teachings of Yoga through rhythm.
- The Cosmic Tree—a framework for weaving Yoga, Ayurveda and Jyotisha into everyday life.
- A gentle contemplative practice to help you reconnect with your own roots.
About your host, Gabriela
I've been teaching Yoga since 2019, but I am now starting to approach it differently. I was lucky enough to have found my lineage during lockdown. Expanding my knowledge of Yoga through Ayurveda, Vastu & Jyotisha has completely changed my the way I practice, teach and live my every day life.
I don't just practice Yoga, I live it.
We have so much access to information these days, but I feel this to be more confusing than ever. We are pulled in different directions, constantly exposed to new trends which are likely to be gone the next day. It's exhausting, and instead of helping us grow, it pulls us into thinking we are not enough.
Instead of answering the most important question of "who am I?", we keep getting more confused.
I am ready to bring the timeless wisdom of the Vedic sciences to life through the Cosmic Tree Collective.
As a practitioner & devoted seeker, I created this framework because I got lost many times, before I could find an embodied way of living in rhythm with nature. A rhythm that would support me finding the answer to the most important question - "who am I truly?".
I hope you will be able to join me live for the Satsang where I will be expanding more on this framework and share reflections for an embodied way of life.
